Fumoto at Re Rack

Have you ever considered that being able to change the oil on your car is a resiliency skill that’s crucial to adapt and thrive in these uncertain economic times? 

ReRack thinks so. That’s why ReRack teamed up with MadeWith to host a two-day workshop series in April focusing on basic car maintenance to help participants build their knowledge and confidence with their vehicle. Fumoto was invited to supply the engine oil drain valves for the event.

Based in Portland, Oregon, MadeWith provides engaging, hands-on workshops on home maintenance and repair, emergency preparedness, and other “resiliency skills". ReRack is an online and in-person retail shop for new and used vehicle roof racks. They are committed to making rack ownership affordable and accessible.

The workshop was led by ReRack owner, auto mechanic, car enthusiast, and Fumoto fan Suzie and hosted at the ReRack warehouse in Portland. The six participants of the workshop, most of whom were women, learned how to change tires, change engine oil, and potentially change their lives with these resiliency skills.

Suzie said of the event, “Everyone had fun!. They were all incredibly excited about the Fumoto valves and how easy it's going to make their oil changes in the future. It was the perfect learning experience!”
